  • A Rural Community located in Vermont's Champlain Valley.   Farming is the chief occupation within the town.
  • Route 22A is the major route running north-south.

  • Brandon has an attractive commercial center dominated by a village green.
  • The town is the birthplace of Stephen Douglas, Lincoln's famous opponent in debate and Thomas Davenport, who made the world's first electric motor here in 1834.
