GENERAL PRODUCTS: FIXED ASSETS

The FA system allows an operator to track a variety of data on company, product, and unit level.  In turn, they are able to organize this data by company, by year, and by a combination of other factors.  This system is divided into 2 parts - entry and reporting.

The entry portion allows the operator to maintain records about their clients, any special codes used to distinguish projects or important items, and easy-to-use system updating features.  This system incorporates built-in tax tables for complex calculations which are programmed into the second section - reports. 

The reporting portion of the FA system allows the operator to view their asset records by year, accounts, projects, and other important data groupings.  Many of the reports have built-in calculations which considers factors such as depreciation over time, and others which change the overall worth of the asset. 

The main benefit is that these calculations run in a matter of minutes.  Prior to this sophisticated system, these calculations were performed with "pencil and paper" and took several hours, if not days, depending on the volume of data.  Another benefit is the ease of maintaining historical records.  The data stored within the system is available at any time by clicking a couple of buttons!
